Introduction

The FACES for the Future Coalition is the extension of a dream that began in 2000 when Dr. Tomás A. Magaña established the first FACES program at Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland. Coming together to replicate that success, Coalition members have united around a common mission, set of guiding values and body of work that utilizes Four Key Elements: 1) Health Careers Exploration; 2) Academic Enrichment; 3) Wellness Support; and 4) Youth Leadership Development.
